The Adorable Girl Bff Club® is more than a website and more than a doll. It’s about a personal mission to teach girls about inner beauty and virtues. 

A mission to make a difference

My mission is to make a difference in the lives of young girls by teaching them life skills, the importance of personal values and promoting a healthy body image. In reflecting on my own personal experiences I recognized the need to reach out to girls while they are young and help them and their mothers with self-esteem.
Today, girls are bombarded by media that sends them mixed messages about who and what they should be. In the market of top-selling dolls, the majority either represent unrealistic body images or have a less-than-wholesome appearance.

A new best friend is born

In 2007, I designed and launched a line of hip, huggable best friends that young girls would simply adore with a corresponding website to help teach young girls the great value of inner beauty. This collection of hip, huggable dolls actually provides a tool to start the process of teaching girls the value of inner beauty. Girls and a parent are invited to go online where they join the BFF Club and are led through a process of choosing a personality for their new Adorable Girl® doll (her bff, of course!) She will select from a list of what we parents know as "virtues". She will then name her doll and choose 5 virtues that matter most to her when choosing a friend. These will then appear in a “really cool” certificate that she prints for her room. Each doll box contains a trendy bff necklace which matches the Adorable Girl doll's necklace, to wear as a symbol of the clubhouse motto that “Inside every girl is a pearl" – the pearl of inner beauty.
